Defenders Media provides media solutions to an alliance of evangelistic ministries that defend the Christian worldview. We do this by elevating the quality of our member’s branding to match the excellence of the content being delivered. We honor God by advocating for biblically-centered beliefs and practices.
Our alliance currently includes the ministries of Risen Jesus, Apologetics315, Veracity Hill, Epic Archeology, Belief Map, God Loves Mormons and Social Apologetics. Each ministry works to present a robust defense of the Christian worldview from a specific vantage point in apologetics. Defenders supports the efforts of these ministries in various ways, whether in fundraising, website creation or management, securing speaking engagements, increasing the quality of their media, or expanding the reach and impact of it.

MEET THE TEAM
Trevor Fox
Executive Director
Trevor Fox is the Executive Director of Defenders Media and supervises the daily operations of our organization. Between his Bachelor’s in Digital Media Communications from Union University and a great resume of client workload, Trevor has developed a diverse creative skillset. In everything, he is motivated to love and serve people through his attention to detail and commitment to excellence. Trevor’s passions include authentic Christian community, life-long learning, quality customer service, racial reconciliation, Spanish language and culture, and multigenerational discipleship. His other interests include making Spotify playlists, cooking, golf, the Chicago Cubs, the Green Bay Packers, Disney, and Christmas. He and his wife live in the St. Louis area and are expecting their first baby this winter.
Christiaan Snedeker
Marketing Strategist
Christiaan Snedeker serves as the Marketing Strategist for Defenders Media. He has worn many hats over his 20-year career as a public speaker, business manager, graphic designer, and marketing director. Currently, Christiaan works as the Executive Director for Lake Geneva Camps and Conferences, and we are grateful for his generous support of Defenders Media and its ministry partners. His studies at Emmaus Bible College, College of Dupage, and Milwaukee Area Technical College have been formative in both his Christian walk and professional development. Christiaan lives in Southern Wisconsin with his wife and three children.
Chris Yiesla
Digital Editor & Multimedia Specialist
Chris Yiesla is the Digital Editor and Multimedia Specialist for Defenders Media. He has been editing films for over 15 years and has worked on 7 feature-length films and over 30 short/independent films during his career. He has a great desire for understanding the deeper truths of God and communicating them to those around him. He holds both a Bachelors and Associates in his field of Film and a certificate in Christian Apologetics; using both sets of skills regularly on Facebook and Youtube to share his passion and faith with his peers. Yiesla resides and works in the Chicagoland area after moving there in 2012 to pursue ministry, When not busy on these fronts, he enjoys exploring the lands of Hyrule and Skyrim in his living room.
Eli Creasy
Graphic Design Coordinator
Eli Creasy is our Graphic Design Coordinator. He has used his multifaceted art skills, including graphic design, painting, and illustration, to serve a variety of clients, from summer camps and churches to small businesses and multinational organizations. Eli is excited to bring his creativity and passion for people to the Defenders team. Originally from the Nashville area, Eli received his Bachelor of Fine Arts in Studio Art from Union University and now lives in West Tennessee.
Mark Lester
Administrative Assistant & Communications Associate
For over a decade, Mark A. Lester has been a born again christian. In that time, he has worked in the children’s ministry at his church as well as in media. In his spare time, Mark is an ardent movie goer, writing reviews for Apologetics315 of films past and present. He currently lives in the western suburbs of Chicago.

Dr. Kurt Jaros
Board Chair
Dr. Kurt Jaros is the Chair of the Board of Directors and Founder of Defenders Media. He also serves as the host of the Veracity Hill podcast. He is a scholar in systematic and historical theology with interests in philosophy of religion and New Testament studies. His Ph.D. has been conferred by the University of Aberdeen, he holds a Masters degree in Christian Apologetics from Biola University, and he holds a Masters degree in Systematic Theology from King’s College London. Kurt blogs at Values & Capitalism, a project of the American Enterprise Institute. His theological interests include theological anthropology, hamartiology, soteriology, divine providence, and other issues in Christian pop culture. Additionally, he enjoys political philosophy, economics, American political history and campaigns. Kurt is the Executive Director for an apologetics organization and currently resides in the St. Louis area with his lovely wife and three daughters.
David Montoya
David Montoya was born and raised a Mormon. He served as a missionary for the Mormon Church for two years (’04 – ’06) in Brazil. Upon returning from his mission, he began to critically analyze Mormonism’s truth claims and concluded that what he believed all of his life was one big lie. He became disenchanted with religion and entered a time of wickedness. However, by the grace of God through His Son Jesus Christ, David was decisively saved. He is now a committed and convinced Evangelical Christian. David works in corporate finance and lives in the Chicago subrubs with his wife and kids.
