Duties

• Perform pre-production work (individually or in a meeting with others)
• Perform video recording/livestreaming duties to capture high quality content
• Edit videos to be visually appealing and engaging
• Record events as needed
• Ensure product meets client or ministry’s desired result
• Export final product
• Upload to video hosting site(s) as needed; provide proper information such as
• descriptions, links, tags, etc.
• Create and import quality attention-grabbing thumbnail images
• Coordinate with Director of Communications for social media purposes
• Be responsible for the media equipment and technology

The ideal candidate will have experience with Final Cut Pro and hands on experience with Blackmagic Design video products. Knowledge of Adobe Creative Cloud suite programs, particularly After Effects a big bonus. Candidates with limited experience but with a passion for videography may be considered. Candidate should have an interest or passion in Christian worldview formation.

The position offers flexible hours between 10-25 per week. This position would work well for a current college student with educational responsibilities or a young professional looking to supplement his or her freelance business with guaranteed work. Position will remain open until filled.

Compensation

The Video Producer position is part-time, offered on an hourly basis of $15-$18/hour. The opportunity for increased hours toward full-time and salaried employment will be considered with organizational experience as the organization continues to grow.
